An atmospheric oil painting titled 'Eulogy,' depicting a dark, ash-filled wasteland following the 2019 Australian bushfires. Heavy layers of dark gray and black paint create an ambiguous, void-like landscape where hovering ash blurs the line between foreground and background, pierced by a stark, haunting light.

This ones for my Dad. Rage against the dying of the light. Painting is alchemy

Sometimes the painting shows up, we are a vessel, it pours forth and I relinquish any control. Some may call it mania, I think it’s being touched by the fire. It feels akin to the Delphic Oracle, murmuring a prophesy, in a moment, not able to decipher until later
